Director Prashanth Varma’s “HanuMan” is the first superhero Telugu film. Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalakshi Sarath Kumar, and Samuthirakhani play the main leads. Although the film initially received limited theatrical releases, it generated overwhelmingly positive word-of-mouth. The film’s appeal transcended age groups, with both kids and family audiences flocking to watch it. As a result, this small film emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year. Teja Sajja’s performance earned him recognition not only in the Telugu states but also among Hindi audiences. Niranjan Reddy produced the film, which had a budget of around Rs 40 crores and collected nearly Rs 350 crores worldwide.
