Three held for coil theft; 60 kgs of copper coils seized

The sleuths of Central Crime Station of LB Nagar, along with Bhongir Rural Police of Rachakonda, apprehended three transformer coil theft offenders. They seized cash worth Rs 1,00,000 and 60 kgs of copper coils.

The police registered Cr no 176/2023 U/Sec. 379 IPC of Bhongir Rural Police.

The accused are Sahadev Hajira, Abhimanyu Raj, Nandulal Rajbar. Six others are absconding in the case.

The property recovered is net cash Rs 1,00,000, 60kgs of transformer copper coils,  one Tata Indica, one Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle, four mobile phones and tools which were used by the accused in the offence.

The police said that A-1 to A-5 are addicted to bad habits, but they didn’t get sufficient amount to meet their lavish expenditure. Then all the accused together decided to commit theft of transformers copper wire. The stolen copper was sold out to A-6 to A-9. Further the offenders purchased a car and a Pulsar bike with the amount of theft and kept Rs one lakh with them for their luxuries.
