Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that hot, humid, and uncomfortable weather is likely to prevail at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next five days, and in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Strong winds with speed reaching 30-40 Kmph is likely to prevail at Isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the next six days. Maximum temperatures of 3-5 degrees Celsius above normal have been recorded at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh on Friday. Rain occurred at a few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, at one or two places in Rayalaseema, and dry weather during the last 24 hours. Southwest monsoon has been normal in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and weak in Rayalaseema, the report added.
