Tight security for PM’s visit to Palasamudram

In anticipation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Palasamudram in Sri Sathya Sai district on January 16, Chief Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh Government, KS. Jawahar Reddy has directed officials to ensure meticulous preparations for the inauguration of the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes, and Narcotics (NASIN). The Chief Secretary held a comprehensive review of the arrangements with officials at the Vijayawada CS camp office on Saturday.
During the meeting, Jawahar Reddy emphasised the need for stringent security measures and overall preparedness to guarantee the success of the Prime Minister’s visit.
He issued orders to the concerned departments to make necessary arrangements. According to the tentative schedule, the Prime Minister is expected to arrive in Palasamudram on the afternoon of January 16, participating in local programs at NASIN and returning later that evening. To avoid any lapses in the arrangements, the Chief Secretary instructed the Sri Sathya Sai District Collector and SP to enforce strict measures.
Additionally, he directed the virtually participating DGP Rajendra Nath Reddy to implement robust security measures.
Jawahar Reddy instructed officials to make adequate arrangements for the participation of State Governor S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Prime Minister’s visit.
Specifically, regarding the Prime Minister’s visit, he directed relevant department officials to ensure full availability of security, transportation, accommodation, and medical services.
Moreover, during the Prime Minister’s visit, the Information Department was tasked with ensuring widespread publicity through Doordarshan, Akashvani, and other electronic and print media.
