The International Temples Convention & Expo (ITCX) 2025 is set to be held at Asha Conventions in Tirupati from 17 to 19 February. Conceptualised by Giresh Kulkarni, Founder of Temple Connect, in association with the Anthyodaya Pratishthan, ITCX 2025 aims to bring together Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, and Jain institutions on a global platform to modernise and strengthen temple ecosystems while celebrating their cultural heritage.
The event will see hybrid participation from around 1,581 devotional institutions across 58 countries, featuring over 111 speakers, 15 workshops and knowledge sessions, and more than 60 stalls at the expo.
Dubbed the ‘Mahakumbh of Temples,’ ITCX is a flagship initiative of Temple Connect, an organisation engaged in documenting and digitising information about temples of Indian origin. The event is chaired by Prasad Lad, who also serves as the Chief Whip of the Maharashtra Legislative Council. This edition focuses on enhancing the devotee experience and convenience, aligning with its theme of ‘Engaging, Empowering, and Enhancing the Temple Economy.’
ITCX 2025 has received support from the Government of India through the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, and the Incredible India initiative. The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) is the presenting partner, while the Archaeological Survey of India and the Tourism and Endowments departments of Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, and other states have also extended their backing.
“In line with the Prime Minister’s vision of preserving Bharat’s cultural and spiritual heritage, ITCX seeks to bridge the gap between tradition and modern governance. Temples are not just places of worship but also cultural and economic powerhouses.
