Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that there can be no government at the Centre which does not need the 65 Parliamentary seats in the two states of Telangana and Maharashtra.

Speaking during the induction of sarpanches from Maharashtra, KCR explained the Math.

“If 48 of the 48 MPs or Maharashtra are elected on a BRS ticket, won’t the Centre bend their necks? There are 17 MP seats in Telangana. There can be no government at the Centre which do not want the 65 Parliamentary seats of the two states. For the first time, Maharashtra will get the opportunity to lead the country in this way. So I picked Maha,” he said.

KCR said that Maharashtra definitely needs change. “In Karnataka, the BJP was defeated and a Congress government took over. Will this change anything? Nothing will change for 100 years. Cat will go, dog will come, dog will go and monkey will come. Our lives won’t change,” he said.

KCR said that looking at his popularity in Maharashtra, a BRS government will be formed in Maharashtra 100 per cent.

“If the schemes implemented in Telangana are implemented here, you will see a change within a month or a month and a half,” KCR said.

“100 per cent of Sarpanchs joined the BRS from the Buldana district of Vidharbha. As sitting Sarpanches, they have another term of two and two-and-a-half years. All of them announced that they are joining the BRS with the sole aim to take Maharashtra on the path of progress. They strongly believe that change is possible only with the BRS. The sarpanches in Buldana district will be the only BRS Sarpanches,” KCR said.

If a BRS government is formed, a Telangana-style Maharashtra can be launched in two years. Within three years, households in Maharashtra will be provided abundant drinking water through taps.

You have to decide if the change is necessary or not, the CM added.

KCR said that when an IAS officer named Kendrekar advised that the government should not sit idly by while farmers commit suicide, and to immediately implement the Telangana model in Maharashtra, the Chief Minister and ministers summoned, scolded and threatened him and he resigned.

“Rs 49,000 crore will be required for the Telangana Model to be implemented in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra government did not have that. Farmers were left to die. What happens to the income of Maharashtra, which is such a rich state, the financial capital of the country, Mumbai, and many cities and industries?” KCR asked.

“They say that if the Telangana Model is implemented, the country will go bankrupt. But Maharashtra will not go bankrupt. Leaders go bankrupt. Farmers celebrate Diwali (Diwali) festival. If the Telangana Model is implemented, the leaders will not get commissions. That’s why they went bankrupt,” he said.

He asked, “Why do the Congress, the BJP, the Shiv Sena and the NCP who have ruled Maharashtra so far have not been able to end these problems? KCR said it feels very strange when talking about Maharashtra. With Mumbai as the financial capital of the country and many other big cities, industries and natural resources, there is no shortage of resources in Maharashtra.
