LB Nagar Traffic constable T Satish got all-round applause for saving a man who was trying to commit suicide on the highway towards Vijayawada.
Rachakonda CP Chauhan congratulated the traffic constable for saving the man’s life.
On May 13, LB Nagar Traffic Constable T Satish while on duty on Vijayawada highway, saved a construction worker Mangra (35) from ending his life. Mangra, a resident of Jharkhand, who came to the city for livelihood, tried to commit suicide by jumping from the top of the LB Nagar flyover due to financial problems at 6pm.
Johnson, a private employee who was there, and constable Satish, tried to bring Mangra down and by pulling him towards them. Later, he was handed over to the Law and Order Police.
The video has gone viral on the social media platforms where the traffic cop was being praised for being alert on suicidal spots.
