Tragedy struck again in the Telugu film industry when two young fans, Aarava Manikanta (23) and Thokada Charan (22), lost their lives in a bike accident after attending the pre-release event of Ram Charan’s upcoming film Game Changer in Rajahmundry. The event was attended by Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan, who had emphasised the importance of safety during the event.
The two fans, hailing from Kakinada district’s Gaigolupadu, were riding a bike when a van hit them near Vadisaleru, resulting in their tragic deaths. Ram Charan was deeply saddened by the incident and expressed his condolences, sending his team to support the grieving families and announcing financial aid of Rs 5 lakhs each to both families.
Pawan Kalyan had appealed to the fans to prioritise safety during the event, but unfortunately, this incident occurred. Ram Charan shared his grief, saying, “We always pray that our fans who attend the event go back home safely… This is a very unfortunate incident. I can understand the pain of the grieving families. I am going through the same pain. My heartfelt condolences to them.”
Producer Dil Raju also announced financial aid of Rs 5 lakhs each to the two families and pledged to support them in any way possible. This incident brings back memories of the Sandhya Theatre stampede in Hyderabad, where a woman lost her life and a child was severely injured. The film industry and fans are still reeling from these tragic events.
