It all started when Mansoor expressed unhappiness in an interview about the lack of “bedroom scenes” with Trisha in Leo. He also bemoaned the scarcity of rape scenes in Tamil cinema, drawing fury on social media. Several celebrities, including Lokesh and Chiranjeevi, denounced Mansoor’s remark. The National Women’s Commission also filed a police complaint against the 61-year-old actor, accusing him of sexual harassment and attempting to offend a woman’s modesty with his remarks. Trisha opted to take the high road after Mansoor Ali Khan’s weak apologies, tweeting Alexander Pope’s statement, “To err is human, to forgive is divine.”
