TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy said that KCR launched the TRS with the Rs 1 crore given by the late former Minister Bojjala Gopalakrishna Reddy (former Srikalahasthi TDP MLA).

“TRS flexes and membership books were printed with the money given by Bojjala.

KCR started the TRS with AP people’s money. There are many witnesses for this,” Revanth said.

“I joined the TDP in 2007. The Basheer Bagh firing occurred in 2000. How can Harish say that I was behind the firing on that day? And even before Harish became a ward member, the Congress made him a minister. KCR claims to have resigned for the sake of Telangana.
Then why did he go for an alliance with Chandrababu in 2009? You are parasites. You survived with TDP on the one side and the Congress on the other.

You have the cheap culture of criticising the parties which enabled you to survive,” Revanth said lashing out at BRS leaders.

He said that the BRS did not provide 24-hour free electricity supply. “You have given the nine hours of free electricity that we gave in instalments till 2018. In the 2018 BRS manifesto, you proposed to set up power plants near the SCCL coal mines.

But the power plant was shifted to Yadadri which does not have coal mines. KCR’s advisers are the most corrupt. From which party did your ministers come from?” he said.

Revanth said that Harish should be ashamed to say that KCR who has a history of filing cases against Telangana intellectuals is Satya Harishchandra.

He also gave a strong counter to the accusations of BRS leaders that 24-hour free electricity is not being given in Chhattisgarh even though it had surplus electricity.

“It was announced that Rs 10 lakh will be given to every house in Chintamadaka where KCR was born. Why was it not made applicable to other parts of the state? Why is the same thing not applied to Kongareddypalli? Priorities vary from state to state,” Revanth said.

He said that electricity files will be released soon exposing the corruption and irregularities in electricity purchases.

“I have been in the opposition for 20 years and have been fighting for the people. Even when I joined the TDP, I was in the opposition. In the Congress too I am in the opposition. I have a history of fighting for the public,” he said.
