TRS MLA accuses Modi of unleashing ‘political vendetta’

Local MLA Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy on Sunday accused the Prime Minister Narendra Modi of failing to assure the people that all promises incorporated in the AP Reorganisation Act would be fulfilled. He wondered as to why the Prime Minister visited Telangana.

Addressing the media at his camp office here on Sunday, the MLA noticed that the Prime Minister also went to Andhra Pradesh, but he did not make any statement on fulfilling the promises made in AP Reorganisation Act 2014. It exposed Mod’s true nature.

Modi did not make any statement on the special status to AP even eight years after the bifurcation of the State, he remarked.

Why did the Centre not release funds to the promised Bayyaram Steel factory and Tribal University as promised in the AP Reorganisation Act, he asked. Similarly, he was critical of Modi for not according the National Project status to Kaleshwaram project and a Navodaya School in every district of Telangana.
