Telangana State Chief Secretary, Shanti Kumari, visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada on Tuesday to seek the blessings of Goddess Durga Devi.
During her visit, the temple Executive Officer (EO) KS Rama Rao, Temple Sthanacharya Siva Prasad Sarma, and members of the Vedic Committee extended a warm welcome to CS Shanti Kumari and facilitated her darshan of the deity.
Following the Durga Devi darshan, CS Shanti Kumari actively participated in the ‘Pancha Harathulu’ rituals. She lit lamps and took part in the ‘Unjal’ and ‘Sahasra Deepalankarana Sevas’.
Expressing their appreciation, temple EO KS Rama Rao presented a portrait of Durga Devi to CS Shanti Kumari in recognition of her visit.
Notably, NTR district Sub Collector Aditi Singh accompanied Telangana CS Shanti Kumari during this auspicious visit.
