TS EAMCET schedule released, notification on Feb 28

The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) has released the schedules for the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TSEAMCET–2023) and the Telangana State Post-graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGCET), 2023.

The notification regarding this will be issued on February 28 and the last date to apply without late fee is April 10.

A Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted for admission to the first year of undergraduate professional courses in universities, and private unaided and affiliated professional colleges in Telangana in the academic year 2023-24.

The undergraduate professional courses are BE, B.Tech, B.Tech (Bio-Tech), B.Tech (Diary Technology), B.Tech (Agri Engineering), B.Pharm, B.Tech (Food Technology [FT]), BSc (Hons.) Agriculture, BSc (Hons.) Horticulture, and B.Sc (Forestry).

Students are allowed to edit their details, if necessary, in the submitted application forms between April 12 and 14.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education Chairman, Prof. R. Limbadri, said that students and parents must fill up the forms carefully without errors. This time also the 25 per cent Intermediate weightage for TS EAMCET would not be considered.

The minimum Intermediate marks criterion is 45 per cent for admissions through TS EAMCET 2023. The entrance test will cover 70 per cent of the first-year syllabus and 100 per cent of the second-year Intermediate syllabus.

He also added that applications can be submitted with a late fee of Rs 250, Rs 500, Rs 2,500 and Rs 5,000 up to April 15, 20, 25 and May 2. Students can download hall tickets from April 30.

In PGCET the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted for deciding admissions to universities, affiliated engineering, pharmacy and architecture colleges in Telangana during the academic year 2023-2024. The full-time courses are ME, M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch and graduate-level PharmD.
