The Telangana government has made special arrangements to bring back Telangana students and citizens who are currently in Manipur due to the compromised peace and security situation in the state. A special plane has been sent to Manipur and steps have been taken to transport the Telangana students to Hyderabad.
To ensure the safe evacuation of the students, a special control room has been set up in Hyderabad along with Telangana Bhawan in New Delhi. Chief Secretary of Telangana Government Santhi Kumari is taking measures in consultation with the Chief Secretary of Manipur government to evacuate Telangana students from Imphal to Hyderabad.
Director General of Police Anjani Kumar of Telangana is reportedly also in regular contact with the police officers of Manipur government for the safety of Telangana people in Manipur.
The Telangana government has taken this initiative in view of the current peace and security situation in Manipur. The state has been facing unrest in some parts and the government is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens, especially those who are studying or working in other states.
