Total number of voters in Telanqana is 3,06,42,333 as per the draft electoral rolls published by the Election Commission.

Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj said on Monday that the draft roll for 2nd Special Summary Revision (SSR) was published in all 119 Assembly constituencies on August 21. As per the draft roll, 1,53,73,066 are male voters and 1,52,51,797 are female voters and 2,133 voters belong to the third gender. Highest 6 lakh voters in Serilingampally constituency followed by Qutubullapur.

The State has 119 Assembly constituencies and the number of polling stations is 35,356.

The total number of general electors in the State is 3,06,26,996, the CEO said. There are 2,742 NRI electors and 15,337 service electors in the electoral roll. The number of young electors in the age group of 18-19 stands at 4,76,597, Vikas Raj said. To the previous voter list about 8,31,520 additions were made, while 1,82,183 voter names were deleted as point of continuous updation of roll.

The CEO said that period for filing claims is from August 21 to September. He further said a person, whose name has been deleted from electoral roll wrongfully, could file an appeal.

The Draft Electoral Rolls are also uploaded in the Chief Electoral Officer’s website www.ceotelangana.nic.in.

All the voters of Assembly constituencies are requested to verify their names/polling station in the electoral rolls and to submit their claims and objections if any in Form-6, 7 or 8 as appropriate to the concerned Electoral Registration Officers or submit online in the ECI website https://voters.eci.gov.in/ or by downloading the Voters Helpline Mobile App before September 19.

All the voters are requested to utilise this opportunity to enroll their names in the voters list and to make corrections in the existing entries for the mistakes crept in, if any.
