Dr MCR HRD Institute, Director General, Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka, said that Telangana state, with a growth rate of 13.9%, during the last five years, has emerged as the fastest growing state in India. The officers, faculty and staff at institute celebrated the 10th year of the Telangana Formation Day.
During his address, Benhur Ekka, said, “The government conceptualised and launched a number of innovative schemes, including Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima, Ease of Doing Business, Innovative IT Initiatives, Haritha Haram, Aasara Pension,etc. On account of this, the state has emerged as a model one, committed to the twin goals of development and welfare, and is being emulated by other states, across the country. All these initiatives resulted in the overall development of the state, especially the weaker sections.”
“The state government is setting up the Hyderabad Pharma City over an area of 19,000 acres, which will be first of its kind in India with new international benchmarks”, added Benhur Ekka.
He called upon the officers, faculty and staff of the institute to impart high quality training to the employees, at different rungs of administrative hierarchy, in order to empower them to achieve the cherished goals of the state.
On this occasion, Benhur Ekka paid tributes to youth who laid down their lives during the course of Telangana movement. A large number of trainees, including executive officers and research officers of Lok Sabha Secretariat, New Delhi attended the function.
