Telangana witnessed high intense cold weather on Wednesday night. Indian Meteorological Department authorities have predicted that minimum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 2-4°C at isolated pockets over Telangana.Weather enthusiast T Balaji said, “High intense cold weather ahead even tonight in entire Telangana. Humidity has dropped to season’s lowest so far and cool winds coming from North. Super cool weather with minimum temp up to 7°C in rural TS and up to 11°C expected in parts of Hyderabad”.
Cold wave conditions are prevailing in Telangana with Kohir in Sangareddy recording 7.2°C on Monday early morning. Similar cold wave conditions will continue for the next four days till Sunday. In Hyderabad, the recordings were Rajendranagar 11.9°, Lingojiguda 12.4°, West Maredpally 12.6°, MachaBollaram 13°; Jeedimetla 13.3°m, Cantonment Area 13.6°, Hayathnagar 13.6°, Shapurnagar 13.8°, Bandlaguda 14° and Hafeezpet:14.1°.
