TSIC hosts webinar to mark World Creativity, Innovation Day

The Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC) on Saturday hosted a webinar titled “Celebrating the Spirit of Innovation” on Saturday, as part of the T-Innovation Mahotsavam, remembering  World Creativity & Innovation Day.
Over 800 attendees, including college students, entrepreneurs, representatives from NGOs, and innovators from Telangana, participated in the session. The event featured industry leaders and local innovators sharing their journeys.
This webinar provided a platform for participants to connect and exchange ideas. Innovators from diverse backgrounds had the opportunity to network and collaborate, strengthening Telangana’s innovation ecosystem. Industry leaders offered practical advice on bringing up innovative ideas, empowering participants to turn their visions into reality.
Additionally, Telangana’s innovators, such as A Srija, Ganesh Yakara, and Hemesh Chadalvada, shared their stories of addressing local challenges through creativity and determination.
Ganesh Yakara’s “Samskar Toy,” designed to educate children about personal safety, and Hemesh Chadalvada’s “Alpha Monitor,” aiding individuals with Alzheimer’s  and educating children about the concept of good touch and bad touch, were highlighted for their innovation and social impact.
Expert talks by leaders like Ajit Rangnekar, CIO of Telangana, and Annie Vijaya, CEO of ACIC-CBIT, provided valuable points on escalating innovations and navigating the state’s innovation ecosystem.
Telangana CIO Ajit Rangnekar said, “Telangana’s grassroots innovators have demonstrated talent. The TSIC’s webinar provided a platform to showcase their achievements and connect potential innovators with the resources they need to thrive”.
As part of the T-Innovation Mahotsavam, the webinar was conducted to aim and promote a culture of innovation across Telangana. Highlighting the achievements of local innovators and offering guidance from industry experts, TSIC hopes to inspire a new wave of innovation and entrepreneurship in the state.
