In a new development in the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) question paper leak case, TSPSC Chairman Janardhan Reddy and Secretary Anitha Ramachandran appeared before the ED on Monday.
The ED intensified its investigation into the TSPSC paper leakage money laundering case. TSPSC officials were interrogated for five hours and their statements were recorded. The ED has already interrogated Section Officer Shankar Lakshmi in the case.
The ED has taken the statement of Assistant Section Officer Satyanarayana who along with Shankar Lakshmi complained to the police about the question paper leak.
The SIT found that an amount of Rs 31 lakh was not transacted in the TSPSC leakage case. Based on this, the ED is investigating the Chairman and Secretary of the TSPSC. ED officials have already taken the statement of the main accused in the case.
The Central agency had registered an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) and took up investigation following reports and complaints about huge amounts of money being paid.
