TTD EO inspects CRO, SapthagiriObserves room allotment system

TTD EO J Syamala Rao, along with Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary and CVSO Sreedhar, inspected the Sapthagiri Satralu and Central Reception Office at Tirumala the other day.
At Sapthagiri Satralu, he inspected the rooms, verified the cleanliness in corridors and bathrooms, and also checked the switchboards, Jalaprasadam, mattresses, beds, cots and bedspreads. Later, he asked the officials concerned to list out the damage and immediately rectify the defects. The EO also directed the officials to carry out deep cleaning and to ensure that the premises are kept clean. He interacted with the pilgrims and verified the allotment process at the counters.
At the Central Reception Office, the EO observed the process of allotment of rooms to the devotees. He checked the electronic display board, information kiosks and also interacted with the devotees from Karnataka and Kallakurichi. The EO instructed the officials concerned also to display the information on the availability of rooms at Tirumala for the convenience of the pilgrims. He also directed the officials to make announcements and verify whether any pilgrim needs lockers in PACs and allot them according to availability.
