Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao directed officials to speed up procedures regarding the Rythu Bharosa scheme which the government is going to implement from January 26.
As decided in the Cabinet meeting, Rythu Bharosa would be applied to arable lands from this Yasangi and technology would be used to identify uncultivable lands.
Tummala spoke to the representatives of technology companies and told them about the information they have to submit regarding the classification of non-cultivable land mandal-wise and village-wise with survey numbers. The government also informed that it has decided to use the services of the Revenue and Agriculture Departments to survey villages and detect such lands.
