Twitter war over Vande Bharat

The Vande Bharat Express has become a topic for social media warriors of the BJP and the BRS.The warriors have been criticizing each other on ticket prices, duration of the journey and other facilities provided in RTC buses particularly on RTC Garuda Plus Volvo buses and the Vande Bharat Express which would operate from Sunday from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam. The SCR has released the ticket price list of the Vande Bharat Express.

Seeing the list, pro-BJP social media warriors said that it is better to travel in the ‘Vande Bharat’ train than in TSRTC’s Garuda Plus Volvo buses.

They said the Garuda plus Volvo bus operating from Hyderabad to Warangal charges Rs 480 and the journey takes 2.30 hours.The ‘Vande Bharat’ train will go from Secunderabad to Warangal in one hour and 35 minutes for Rs 520. Comparing the two prices and travel time some BJP supporters said on Twitter that the BRS government is robbing passengers.

Counter-tweets were seen from the BRS. It said that ‘Vande Bharat’ trains operating are running late than scheduled times and that the attention given to high ticket prices should enable passengers to reach their destinations on time.
