Two more guarantees to be implemented immediately: CM

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that two more guarantees from among the Six Guarantees will be implemented ensuring that all eligible people who had applied via Praja
Palana gets the benefits. Officials have been directed to make preparations for implementing the two more guarantees.
The CM held a review meeting with Cabinet Sub-Committee ministers and senior officials on the Praja Palana programme at the Secretariat on Thursday. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, D. Sridhar Babu and P. Srinivas
Reddy attended the review.
The Chief Minister had a discussion with officials on implementation of the distribution of cooking gas cylinders at the subsidized price of Rs 500 to the poor, construction of Indiramma houses and the supply of 200 units of free electricity scheme.
Officials have been asked to be ready with the necessary action plan for implementing the three guarantees. The CM instructed officials to make arrangements to implement two of these guarantees immediately.
Revanth inquired about the financial requirements for implementing each guarantee and the details of the number of beneficiaries under each scheme. The CM advised the
Finance Department to allocate funds in the budget. The CM said that he would hold another meeting with the Cabinet sub-committee before the Assembly session and
take a final decision.
The Praja Palana programme was conducted from December 28, 2023 to January 6 across the state.

The government received applications from the people, who are eligible to avail the benefits of five guarantees, in Gram Sabhas and Ward Meetings. A total of 1,09,01,255 applications were registered and completed in a record time on January 12.
Officials explained to the CM that some of the applicants had submitted more than one application and some of them did not furnish details of their Aadhaar and ration card numbers.CM Revanth Reddy advised officials to re-examine such applications and conduct a field visit, if necessary, to verify the details in the applications. The officials were told to verify the details of the applicants more times, if required, so that no eligible pepole be left in availing the scheme’s benefits.
Arrangements will be made to rectify the errors in the applications at the MPDO offices or in the next Praja Palana programme. The CM warned officials not to impose unnecessary
rules for implementing the guarantees. A mechanism will be developed to ensure every eligible applicant gets the benefit of the scheme. The CM ordered officials to make arrangements to receive the applications as a and provide an opportunity to those who
did not apply. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, DGP Ravi Gupta, Finance Special Chief
Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, Civil Supplies Commissioner DS Chauhan, Municipal
Administration Principal Secretary Dana Kishore, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose,
Hom-Secretary Jitender, CM Principal Secretary Seshadri, CM Special Secretary Ajith
Reddy, Intelligence Chief Shivadhar Reddy and other officials attended the homogenates.
