Two of the nine women mediapersons who got Hybiz.tv Media Awards 2023 belong to The Pioneer. Naveena Ghanate, Bureau Chief of The Pioneer was awarded Best Story by Women Journalist. Deepika Pasham, reporter was awarded the Best Rural Story by Reporter. Hybiz.tv Media Awards 2023 was held at HICC Novotel, Hyderabad. Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Minister for Home, Prisons & Fire Services distributed the awards.
This year, under its ongoing Social Responsibility initiative, Hybiz.tv also announced 10 scholarships worth Rs 25,000 each to children of media families who are studious but require financial assistance. The students who were excited to meet Minister KT Rama Rao, waited for two hours and were disappointed over his last moment absence. Nonetheless, they were given scholarships on behalf of Resonance Junior Colleges with IIT-JEE, NEET to the hard-working students selected from more than 50 applications. This made them happy.
The Home Minister said that the Telangana government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has accorded high priority to the welfare of journalists in the state. “So far, the government has released Rs 42 crore for the welfare of scribes. I am happy that Hybiz.tv is giving away awards to journalists and scholarships to the meritorious children of journalist families,” he noted.
“It is said pen is mightier than the sword. That is why journalists must highlight truth,” Member of Parliament (Chevella)) Dr G Ranjith Reddy said, adding that Hybiz.tv under its MD M Rajgopal has withstood intense pressure and succeeded in the media field.
EV Narasimha Reddy, VC&MD TSIIC, Narendra Ram Nambula, CMD, Lifespan Pvt. Ltd., P. Chakradhara Rao, President, IPEMA, Poultry India, M Ravinder Reddy, Director Marketing, Bharathi Cements, and V Rajashekar Reddy, General Secretary, CREDAI, Hyderabad were among those present.
