Two TGSCSC students clear UPSC finals, likely to be selected for IRS

Commissioner of SCDD and Vice-President of Telangana Scheduled Castes Study Circle (TGSCSC) N Kshitija announced that two students from TGSCSC were selected in the Civil Services Examination 2024 conducted by UPSC. Gokamalla Anjaneyulu secured AIR 934 and Ramtenki Sudhakar got AIR 949. Both are likely to be selected for the IRS.

She shared that in the Civil Services Prelims held in June 2024, 27 students qualified and appeared for the Mains in September. Of them, three students reached the interview stage and two secured final selection.

In the recently declared Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) Group-1 results, TGSCSC students secured high ranks. B Vanaja secured 38th rank, R Mery Gold 56th, M Raviteja 66th, Kishan Patel 72nd, E Rakesh 78th, B Sravan 84th, and D Praveen 105th. Students also secured 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 10th ranks in the SC category, 2nd in ST, and 10th in BC-D. Around 35-40 students are expected to be selected for top posts like Deputy Collector, DSP, CTO and others.

Located in Banjara Hills, TGSCSC offers a 10-month free residential IAS coaching programme for poor SC, ST and BC students, selected through a State-level entrance exam announced in May/June. Since 1980, over 450 civil servants have been trained here.

Kshitija thanked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for their support and congratulated the successful candidates.
