In a shocking incident, two youths were brutally murdered on Wednesday night at Butterfly City under the Kadtal Police Station limits in Rangareddy District on Wednesday night. The youngsters were killed just hours after leaving the Kadtal police station where they had reached a compromise regarding a case with their rivals.
The deceased were identified as S. Shiva (27) and G Shiva (25). While S Shiva worked as a driver and G Shiva in a chicken shop.
According to Kadtal Circle Inspector  Sivaprasad, an investigation is being conducted from all angles to uncover the motive behind the murders. Initial reports suggested that the youths were stabbed to death. Police are also exploring the possibility of recent quarrels between the two friends.
The incident sparked outrage among the local community. Relatives and villagers staged a protest in front of the Kadtal police station, demanding justice to the families of the deceased. The grieving parents, Krishnaiah Balamma and Veeresha Yadamma called for severe punishment for those responsible for the heinous act.
The circle Inspector mentioned that Jalkam Ravi from Govindai Palli village and Palle Raju Goud from Jangareddy Palli village, along with others, were staying on rent in a villa where the murders took place. Based on a complaint filed by Karunakar, the brother of one of the deceased, a case has been registered and a thorough investigation is underway.
The bodies have been sent to Kalvakurti Government Hospital for postmortem examination.
