Union Minister to lay stone for nursing college

The Krishna District Collector, P Raja Babu, has instructed officials to prepare for the foundation stone laying ceremony for a Nursing College in Machilipatnam. The ceremony will take place virtually on February 5 and Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, will perform the task, he said.
On Saturday, the collector Raja Babu inspected the arrangements for laying the foundation stone on the premises of the Government Medical College in Machilipatnam. After the inspection, he held a meeting with concerned officials at the college. Additionally, he conducted a trial run to check the working conditions of digital screens.
Speaking on the occasion, the collector made several suggestions to the officials to make the laying of the foundation stone for the Nursing College a success. Also, he said that to make necessary arrangements for the foundation stone ceremony and arrange digital screens for the convenience of the public to see the programme. He instructed the officials concerned about the programme and said that it should be conducted as per the plan.
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare observer Dheeraj Kumar, Machilipatnam RDO M Vani, Nursing College Deputy Director Dr Valli, Machilipatnam Government Medical College In charge Principal Dr Asha Latha, Director of Medical Education (DME) officer Dr Anil and others were present.
