The lone Congress MLC, T. Jeevan Reddy, said that there is a talk that former TPCC President, Nalgonda MP N. Uttam Kumar Reddy may change party. However, he made it clear that former Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar had no such thoughts.
Jeevan also said that he had approached CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka regarding former MLC Premsagar Rao, but Bhatti said that Premsagar had no thoughts of changing party.
Speaking to the media on Thursday at the Indira Bhavan in Jagtial, Jeevan said that one has to understand that leaders who stay in a particular party till nominations are filed are in that party.
Jeevan said that nobody will object if he wants to contest Lok Sabha elections. “I am ready to contest from Karimnagar or Nizamabad if the party asks me. My slogan is ‘vote for me and give note for me’ till I file nomination. Later, you know what the leaders will do,” he said.
