Vande Bharat Express to have a halt at Eluru from tomorrow: MP

Starting on Sunday (August 25), the Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20708) will have a scheduled stop at Eluru Railway Station, according to Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar.
In a press release here on Friday, Mahesh Kumar said the Indian Railway Board has taken this decision, which will see the Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express reach Eluru at 5:54 PM and depart at 5:55 PM, eventually arriving in Secunderabad at 11:20 PM.
The return journey, from Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam, on the Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20707) will commence on August 26. The train will depart Secunderabad at 5:05 AM, reach Eluru at 9:49 AM, and depart at 9:50 AM, arriving in Visakhapatnam at 1:50 PM.
The Eluru MP extended his best wishes to the people of the Eluru parliamentary constituency on this occasion, appealing to them to make use of the Vande Bharat Express service. He highlighted that the train will not only make travel more comfortable but also save time.
The MP noted that the train’s new halt at Eluru would be beneficial for the residents, particularly in enhancing business, and commerce, and providing better opportunities for employees, youth, and those travelling for examinations.
MP Putta Mahesh Kumar expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Principal Executive Director (Coaching) Devendra Kumar, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Education Minister Nara Lokesh for facilitating the halt of the Vande Bharat Express at Eluru.
The MP also mentioned that he is steadily fulfilling the promises made during his election campaign in Eluru. He shared that the construction of his residence in Eluru is going on and he plans to move in by February next year. He reiterated his commitment to working tirelessly for the resolution of public issues, stating that he aims to serve the district’s residents as their dedicated representative. Furthermore, he announced plans to implement training programmes for the youth, focusing on creating job opportunities.
