6ixCinemas production house under Surya Bezawada based out of Toronto, has been set up to make global telugu feature films. They are keen to bring content driven and technically sound films representing the globally famed Telugu Film Industry.
Varun Korukonda aka V is a Indo- Canadian filmmaker known for his aesthetic and content driven filmmaking. He has produced and directed several award winning short films and has done mainstream commercials and music video productions.His stories are mostly adventure thrillers, which are larger than life but still rooted into a relatable realm of reality.
V’s cinematic language relies heavily on use of a color palette , set design, shot compositions and unique camera movements which in turn help pave the way for an aesthetic and entertaining end product.
6ixCinemas and a film by V are collaborating to make a global Indian feature film in Telugu with dubbing in various other primary Indian languages. The movie is currently in the pre production phase and will be shot entirely in Toronto.
The shooting will begin in April 2023 and the movie is being planned to be released in the last quarter of 2023.Story written by Varun is a thriller comedy, which gives us a glimpse into the life of a group of Indians who are currently trying to make their dreams but end up stuck in very uncomfortable and life threatening situations.The story is a fast paced thriller keeping entertainment as the vital backbone of the movie.
Talks are currently on going related to leads with Vennela Kishore signed as one of the main support cast.He would be reviving his character of Kadhar from Vennela released in 2005 who now lives in Toronto after being kicked out of the USA.The main crew has worked on various Hollywood features and are eager to produce a Indian masterpiece.
