Gandivadhari Arjuna is an action and emotional thriller starring Mega Prince Varun Tej. Sakshi Vaidya played the heroine in this movie. Stylish filmmaker Praveen Sattaru has directed this movie. Produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Creations, this movie is going to be released on August 25.
On this occasion, the makers organised a grand pre-release event. In this event, Mega Prince Varun Tej said, “Today is also the birthday of my great-grandfather Megastar Chiranjeevi. Happy birthday to all his fans. My first director Srikanth Addala, my last director Anil Ravipudi, my present director are on this stage. Thanks to every director who has shaped me as an actor. Can’t we do commercial movies every time we do variety movies? They used to give advice. But I love making new stories. My efforts will not stop whether the film is a hit or a flop. With the audience support I will continue to do more stories like this. Movies with a social message, such stories are rare. I agreed because of the core point of this movie. We always think about our family. But when we watch such movies, we think about the society. We made this film to come up with such ideas. We took this picture to create awareness. I saw this movie last night. I got the feeling that I have made a good movie. The entire team also worked hard. My film, and work should speak.”
Meanwhile, Film director Praveen Sattaru said, “I have touched many genres till now. I like Chandamakathas and Garudavega very much. When making action movies, the kick is different. I made this film with emotions and high octane action sequences. I made this film on a global issue. I added emotion and took it in the entertaining action genre. Writing this story is easy. But we need a hero to do this kind of story. This is not a hero based story. The hero is a part of the story. Varun is a hero who makes films. That’s why I told him this story. It has to be taken with the budget constraints without missing anywhere for the audience. Under this pressure, the entire team worked hard for 72 days of shooting and completed the film in 54 days. Without Varun, this movie would not have done so well.”
