The upcoming January 13th release Saindhav, seems to be a pack of precisely those elements we expect from an action drama. The film is about a daughter suffering from a terminal illness, and a father who puts his life at stake to save her. Venky plays the role of the father who will go to any extent to save his skin in the face of a ruthless hero, containers wherein ‘maal’ is stashed, and a fight-to-finish. Victory Venkatesh plays his career’s most violent role yet in this Sailesh Kolanu directorial.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays a maniacal baddie whose sadism defines the dark scenes. Shraddha Srinath plays the hero’s wife, while Baby Sara is the center of the emotional family drama portions.
Co-starring Mukesh Rishi, Jisshu Sengupta, Arya (as a hired gun working for the good guys), Ruhani Sharma, and Andrea Jeremiah (in an action-heavy role) are playing different roles. Santhosh Narayanan’s score in the trailer is the trendiest we have seen from him since last year’s Dasara. S Manikandan’s cinematography is expansive.
Venkat Boyanapalli of Niharika Entertainment has bankrolled this one.
