VFX trouble dims Chiranjeevi’s enthusiasm for Vishwambhara

Must read

Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Vishwambhara has finally made some news. The makers officially announced that a song from the film will be released on April 12. Reports also suggest that the film may hit screens on July 24, 2025—a significant date, as it marks the anniversary of the release of Indra, one of the biggest blockbusters in Chiranjeevi’s career.
However, it appears that Chiranjeevi is not showing much interest in Vishwambhara, as he seems completely disconnected from the project. Sources reveal he is now focusing more on his next film with director Anil Ravipudi.
The reason behind Chiranjeevi’s lack of enthusiasm for Vishwambhara is reportedly the film’s underwhelming visual effects. “The graphics are not up to standard, and they require a lot of improvement. The makers did not invest enough in the VFX and the result is mediocre visuals, which Chiranjeevi didn’t like,” said a source.
At this point, the team is still working on improving the graphics, but there isn’t much that can be done. So far, only a teaser has been released, and it faced heavy criticism for its poor visuals.
Vishwambhara is a socio-fantasy film with Chiranjeevi in the lead, alongside Trisha and Ashika Ranganath. Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor plays the antagonist.
