Vidyut Jammwal kicked off his acting career in south films. In a recent interview with Baradwaj Rangan, the actor referred to Rajinikanth as a true martial artist when the discussion veered towards martial artists who had turned actors in the Indian film industry.
When the interviewer said that Rajinikanth was not a trained martial artist, Vidyut was quick to point out, “He may not have been professionally trained as a martial artist, but the way he moves and does things shows that a lot of hours have been invested in developing the skill. Hence, he is a true martial artist without a degree.”
Vidyut added, “He started his career in cinema playing an antagonist and his journey so far has been incredible. I haven’t been fortunate to meet him personally as yet. He is a happy man and wherever he goes, he spreads happiness.”
Rajini fans have applauded Vidyut for his insight into one of the biggest superstars in the country. While Vidyut has redefined the way action films are choreographed and mounted, Rajinikanth is undoubtedly one of the biggest pop culture icons owing to his style and swagger which are unmatched.
Vidyut Jammwal’s next release will be the extreme sports film Crakk, a one-of-a-kind film that will be a first for Indian screens
