Vijayashanthi, Manda Jagannadham join Cong

Actor-turned-politician Vijayashanthi joined the Congress party on Friday in the presence of All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Mallikarjun Kharge, AICC in-charge general secretary Manikrao Thakre and CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, former Minister D Sridhar Babu and others.
It may be recalled that Vijayashanthi quit the BJP on November 15. She sent her resignation letter to Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy.
Meanwhile, former MP and Telangana Government State representative in Delhi Manda Jagannatham and his son Manda Srinath also joined the Congress party in the presence of Mallikarjun Kharge at Gandhi Bhavan. Jagannadham was not happy with the BRS party as the party did not give the ticket to his son in the Assembly elections.
