Vijayawada city will be hosting the State council meeting of the Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers (APNGO) Association from August 21 to 22. The two-day council meeting will discuss government employees’ problems and bring them to the attention of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
APNGO Association president Bandi Srinivasa Rao and general secretary K Siva Reddy said at the NTR district executive committee meeting held here on Tuesday that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would be attending the meeting as the chief guest. CM Jagan has accepted the request to attend the meeting, they said. The two-day meeting will be conducted at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) Stadium in Vijayawada, they added.
Thousands of APNGOs will attend the council meeting, where various issues like CPS cancellation, sanctioning of pending DAs, implementation of new pay scales, regularisation of the contract and outsourcing staff, GPF, APGLI, surrender leave, retirement benefits, employees’ health cards implementation and APSRTC employees’ problems will be discussed.
