VN Aditya, who has worked in the film industry for almost ten years, was awarded an honorary doctorate by the George Washington University of Peace in America. He received this esteemed award during the International Peace Conference in Bangalore, where the George Washington University of Peace honoured notable figures for their accomplishments across a range of disciplines.
