The BJP’s Telangana unit President Union Tourism Minister, G. Kishan Reddy, called upon people to vote out Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government which takes a 30 per cent share.
He said that the Congress government was famous for taking ‘commissions’ and that the KCR government is a ‘30 per cent share’ government.
Kishan said that if anyone wants to do business in the state they will have to give a 30 per cent share to BRS leaders. He said that BRS MLAs have been taking a 30 per cent cut in the Dalit Bandhu scheme, that is, Rs 3 lakh.
He called upon people to topple the ‘sharing government’ and warned that “Lands will not remain if the BRS government comes to power again and that all sections will suffer injustice.”
Addressing the ‘Maha Dharna’ held at Indira Park demanding double-bedroom houses for the poor, Kishan said that KCR deceived the people ‘twice’ promising double-bedroom houses.
He made it clear that the BJP will launch a protest till the poor get houses or else the BJP will bring down the BRS government. Kishan said that he would take the responsibility for bringing the Centre’s share if KCR constructs houses for the poor.
He said that the people of Telangana should give BJP a chance and added that the BRS government failed totally in constructing houses and in providing education and medical services.
It is time to remember Prajakavi Kaloji’s words, ‘We have to bury him if a local loots the people,’ Kishan said and added that Telangana has become a prisoner of the Kalvakuntla family.
“Wherever you look in Telangana we can see only land grabs, atrocities, attacks on women, land mafia, sand mafia and the liquor mafia,” he said.
Kishan said the BRS promised to give houses to the poor in 2014, during the 2018 Assembly and 2019 Parliament elections and in the GHMC elections.
“Now the BRS is saying ‘Grilahakshmi Scheme’ before elections. The people have been cheated many times. Under the KCR government, double-bedroom houses are just a promise. KCR’s Ministers, MLAs and BRS leaders have made many announcements regarding double-bedroom houses but there are no houses even after nine years,” Kishan said.
KCR constructed farmhouses with stolen public funds, Kishan said and added that the Kalvakuntla family represents corruption and falsehood. He said that KCR deceived journalists too by promising houses.
