‘I Vote for Sure’ campaigns are being conducted on a grand scale under the guidance of District Election Officer Ronald Rose, large-scale outreach programmes are underway throughout the district to raise voter awareness.
Ronald Rose said, these initiatives include field-level sweep programmes aimed at creating awareness among voters along with programmes being conducted in all Assembly segments, where Self Help Group (SHG) members engage with urban women’s federations, TLF, and SLF, encouraging them to vote for their preferred candidate. He said the teams are going door-to-door, sticking polling date stickers, and distributing voter slips, increasing awareness and informing to Vote on May 13. Strong sweep programs have been conducted in Secunderabad Cantonment, GHMC zones, and all assembly segments of Hyderabad district. Special efforts are being made to educate Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and senior citizens about voting procedures through apps, promising that their voices will be heard.
Ronald Rose also said these awareness campaigns focus on the significance of voting, verifying voter registration status, locating polling booths, and more. Rallies and meetings have been held at various locations, including Vikrampuri, Karkhana Main Road, Bhasha Showroom, and others, under the banner ‘I Vote for Sure’ along with thorough voter awareness programs ongoing across the district, ensuring that voters are well-informed about all relevant issues.
The voter awareness programmes are conducted in all constituencies in Telangana. The District Collectors in their respective districts are organising programmes to bring more voters to polling booths.
