‘We are happy that Kashmir Files won two awards, we dedicate it to Kashmiri Pandits’

The Kashmir Files, produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts, Zee Studios and I am Buddha Production, won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration at the 69th National Film Award 2023.

The people of the country have won this award today,” said producer Abhishek Agarwal. The film The Kashmir Files won two awards at the 69th National Film Awards. While the film won the Best National Integrity Film, actress Pallavi Joshi won the Best Supporting Actress. Producer Abhishek Agarwal held a press meet on this occasion.

Producer Abhishek Aggarwal said, “We are very happy that our The Kashmir Files has won two awards at the 69th National Film Awards. Thanks to director Vivek Agnihotri, Pallavi Joshi and everyone who worked for this film. The Kashmir Files is a people’s film. People are very kind. Today the people of the country have won this award. We dedicate these awards to the people of the country and all Kashmiri Pandits I dedicate this film to the Kashmiri Pandits who believed in us and our storytelling. They are the equal contributors in the making of The Kashmir Files and this Award, the recognition and the praises are as much as theirs as it’s our’s.”

The Kashmir Files is centred around the 1990 exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from Indian-administered Kashmir. The film was directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Agnihotri.

Abhishek Agarwal who is also known for the huge success of Karthikeya 2 will soon present the audiences with another blockbuster, Tiger Nageswara Rao, a pan-Indian film starring Mass Maharaja, Ravi Teja. The film is slated for a theatrical on the 20th of October 2023.
