Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan has underlined the need to win from the Bhimavaram Assembly constituency and exhorted his cadres to strive hard for the same.
Former MLA Pulaparthi Ramanjaneyulu joined the JSP along with followers on Tuesday. Pawan Kalyan admitted them into the JSP by wrapping scarves at the state office at Mangalagiri.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Kalyna exhorted his cadres to strive hard to win in Bhimavaram. He said that many people made comments on the seats allocated to the JSP as part of the alliance with the TDP.
“If I had been elected to the Assembly in the 2019 elections, the political scenario would have been different now. We have forged an alliance keeping in view the progress of the state. The alliance is vital for the state at a time it is in crisis,” he asserted.
“It is not important how many seats were given to the JSP. We are contesting in 175 seats as we are in alliance with the other two parties. The alliance is aimed to ensure that the anti-government votes should not split. The alliance will lead to a modern era in the state,” Pawan Kalyan maintained.
He said that he wanted to purchase a site to build a house in Bhimavaram but no one had come forward to sell his site fearing local MLA Grandhi Srinivas.
“Bhimavaram town has been put in the hands of a rowdy. Grandhi Srinivas should be driven away from Bhimavaram. People supported Grandhi Srinivas on caste basis,” Pawan Kalyan lamented. “There will only be war in politics but no relation,” he said, quoting an epic from the Maha Bharatam. All JSP activists should win the election in Bhimavaram prestigiously.
“Responsible persons should be at the helm of affairs. Our dream of getting the state rid of YSRCP is going to be realized shortly. All should work hard for the same. The state should not be in the hands of anti-socials,” the JSP chief observed.
