The AICC’s general secretary in charge, Meenakshi Natarajan, said that they would listen to the arguments of everyone in a 360-degree angle instead of taking decisions unilaterally and will decide what to do on the Kanche Gachibowli lands.
Addressing the media after a meeting with NSUI leaders at the Indira Bhavan on Saturday, Meenakshi made it clear that the Congress would fight for protecting the environment nationwide.
She said the Congress had appointed a committee comprising people’s unions and environmentalists on the Kanche Gachibowli lands. She said that she would meet with peoples unions and social activists on Sunday.
“We are discussing with the Committee appointed by the government on the Kanche Gachibowli land dispute. Our idea is to resolve the dispute without harming anyone. We are collecting information on the letters of HCU students. We will explain to the people the allegations of the opposition,” Meenakshi said.
On Saturday evening, Meenakshi held discussions with the Group of Ministers Committee at the secretariat. She had a discussion with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar took Meenakshi Natarajan to the Secretariat in his private vehicle and drove on his own from Gandhi Bhavan.
