Welfare schemes launched the government should be implemented transparently, ensuring that every deserving poor person benefits, and the selection process should be conducted accordingly. Selection of beneficiaries for Rythu Bharosa, issuance of new ration cards and Indiramma Housing scheme should be carried out transparently in coordination with the people’s representatives, Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha said here on Thursday.
Raja Narasimha, who is the District In-charge Minister for Mahbubnagar district, emphasised that government welfare schemes should be implemented transparently, ensuring that every eligible poor person benefits. He chaired a coordination meeting at Mahbubnagar District Collector’s conference hall with State Minister for Excise, Tourism, and Culture, Jupally Krishna Rao, MLCs Kuchukulla Damodar Reddy, people’s representatives, and other officials to review the implementation of schemes like Rythu Bhroasa, Indiramma Housing, and new ration card distribution.
During the meeting, the Ministers and officials discussed the implementation of these welfare schemes, the processes for selecting beneficiaries, and the organisation of village and ward meetings. The meeting was aimed to ensure that the schemes were implemented smoothly, with the active participation of people’s representatives and officials.
Minister Raja Narsimha mentioned that the state government would inaugurate four new schemes on January 26. He stressed the importance of transparency and coordination in the selection process.
He also highlighted the need for officials to conduct field surveys and ensure that all eligible beneficiaries were included.
It was noted that online registration mistakes had been preventing some eligible people from getting included. Ministers urged that the new schemes be implemented using modern technology and ensure no lapses in the process.
Further, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao directed the officials to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is denied of benefits of welfare schemes.
The meeting also addressed several local issues, with elected representatives requesting that more Indiramma houses be allocated to Scheduled Castes constituencies, and that houses be issued to those with no land, ensuring that all beneficiaries received their due benefits.
