On the occasion of Republic Day, several welfare schemes were launched in Appareddy Guda village, Nandigama mandal, Rangareddy district. Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar inaugurated key government programs including Rythu Bharosa, Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa, Ration Cards, and the Indiramma Indlu scheme. During the event, appointment documents were handed over to the beneficiaries.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud presented the certificates to the recipients, while MP Anil Yadav, SAT Chairman Shivsena Reddy, MARO Chairman Challa Narasimha Reddy, former working president Kusuma Kumar, former Shadnagar MLA Chaulapalli Pratap Reddy, and former ZPTC Shyam Sundar Reddy also participated in the programme.
Speaking at the event, the leaders expressed their happiness in launching the welfare schemes, emphasising that these initiatives reflect the commitment of a “public government” focused on the welfare of the people. They noted that Appareddy Guda was chosen as a pilot village for these programmes, highlighting the government’s determination to ensure that every household receives a proper home.
The leaders also drew a parallel between the housing schemes initiated by former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and the efforts under the leadership of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, expressing their gratitude for the progress made in providing homes to the poor. “This is a government that works for the people, and our goal is to see happiness in the eyes of the poor,” they said. The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that no one is left without a home in the region.
