West Godavari District Collector Chadalavada Nagarani has exhorted the probationary civil service officers to work with diligence, dedication and be accessible to the people.
As many as 10 probationary civil service officers as part of their study tour met the District Collector in the Collectorate on Friday. The probationary civil service officers had toured the district for the five days.
The probationary officers were selected to the civil services and are undergoing training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration at Mussoorie. As part of their training, they visited various places under the ‘field study and research programme’.
They studied the implementation of the bank linkage of Self-Help groups, the management of NDPs, the implementation of education and health schemes. They also studied the functioning of the DRDA, Revenue, Engineering, Public Health, Town Planning and the MEPMA.
The officers of the respective departments explained to the under training civil service officers about the functioning of the departments and implementation of schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector Nagarani told them that West Godavari is an agriculture and aquaculture rich district. She explained to them the implementation of welfare schemes and the functioning of government departments.
The Collector encouraged them to understand the functioning style of all departments and provide the best services to the people. She conveyed her best wishes to the probationary officers. Joint Collector T Rahul Kumar Reddy and RDO K Pravin Reddy were among those who were present.
