The Congress government will release a white paper in the forthcoming Assembly session on the Irrigation Department, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said on Tuesday.
He said that Vigilance had launched a probe into the irregularities in the Irrigation Department. Gaddar’s birth and death anniversaries would be observed as government programmes, he said.
Revanth said that the Centre had neglected the rights of Telangana people. It did not allot
projects mentioned in the Bifurcation Act like the Bayyaram steel factory, the Kazipet Coach
Factory, ITIR and others, he said.
He said that the Modi government had failed to bring black money and to deposit the promised Rs 15 lakh in each person’s account.
He said that the Centre was not in a position to procure the food grain produced in the state and that the Modi government did not care even if hundreds of farmers died during the mass movement against black laws. Modi had assured that the poor would have a house by 2022 but failed to provide it, he said. He alleged that Modi had given assurances like KCR and had also piled up debts like him.
