Former Minister V. Srinivas Goud warned the TG government that there would be widespread unrest and mayhem in the state if BRS Working President KT Rama Rao is arrested and that the imposition of President’s Rule cannot be ruled out.
He said the BRS has 60 lakh activists in the state and they are ready for any sacrifice. “Is it possible to jail them all?” Srinivas said.
Speaking to the media on Friday at the Telangana Bhavan, Srinivas said the Revanth Government has been leaking info that KTR will be arrested soon.
There are reports that the Governor has given his nod to the ACB for arresting KTR in connection with Formula E Car racing, he said and asked the government to explain what KTR did to arrest him.
Is bringing Formula E Car racing, which is limited to some cities across the world, to Hyderabad a crime? he asked. Is enhancing Hyderabad’s brand image a mistake of KTR?, he asked.
He said that many companies came to Hyderabad after Formula E racing. Instead of continuing the formula car racing, the Congress Government erred by scrapping the agreement, he said and added that it is the mistake of Revanth and not that of KTR. Revanth Reddy, who went to jail once, is thinking that everyone must go to jail, Srinivas said.
