Will certainly implement SC categorisation, assures Cong

AICC secretary Sampath Kumar has reiterated that SC categorisation is a fundamental principle of the Congress party. Speaking at the PAC meeting, he stated that any comments made against this principle by Vivek or any other leader would be deemed as opposition to the Congress party itself, and is expected the party to take necessary action.
Assuring the Madiga community, Sampath Kumar declared that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Congress government would certainly implement SC categorisation. He urged Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) leader Manda Krishna Madiga not to stage protests, emphasizing that Revanth Reddy is the only Chief Minister who has personally argued in the Supreme Court for the Madiga community’s cause.
He pointed out that the Telangana government has already initiated the process of SC categorisation based on the report of a one-man commission. Taking a jibe at BRS leaders, he remarked, “It is laughable that Harish Rao and KTR are now talking about justice for the Madiga community. They should be ashamed.” Sampath Kumar recalled that when he had suggested in the Assembly that the Usha Mehra Commission report be taken to Delhi, BRS leaders remained silent for a decade. He stressed that it was only Revanth Reddy who had raised his voice in the Assembly for the Madiga community.
