| The Congress government has changed its mind and has appealed to the people to apply for benefits as per its 6-guarantees from December 28 to January 6. Earlier, the government stated that it will start two more schemes of 6-guarantees from December 28, that is the date of Congress foundation day. The Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said on Saturday that their government will start a couple of schemes on December 28.
The government will provide application forms to the public from December 26 and people will have to apply from December 28 till January 6 using the application forms. It may be recalled that the government has been implementing the free bus travel scheme which is part of the Mahalaxmi scheme without any application. |
