Chief Minister Revanth Reddy lashed out at the BRS, calling it the “Devil’s Rajya Samithi” (DRS) while reaffirming his government’s commitment to development, social welfare, and protecting Telangana’s cultural identity.

Addressing a massive public meeting under the Praja Palana–Pragathi Baata programme in Aleru on Friday, Revanth contrasted Congress and BRS rule and accused the BRS government of betraying Nalgonda district and leaving irrigation projects incomplete.

Taking a swipe at KCR, he said, “With just one notice, he panics. It’s the Kaleshwaram Commission or Congress Commission, why are they blaming us. Even PV Narasimha Rao appeared before a sessions judge when called. Instead of answering his daughter’s questions, he is attacking me. The BRS is now DRS, the Devil’s Rajya Samithi. Let him first respond to his family’s allegations.”

The CM said that his only objective was to defeat KCR for sending him to jail unjustly, which has been done, and that now he wants to work for people’s welfare.

He began his speech invoking the blessings of Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, announcing that a development board on the lines of Tirumala would be set up for the Yadadri temple. He also declared plans to upgrade the Yadadri Medical College into a full-fledged university.

On the subject of Musi River, the Chief Minister reiterated his vow made during the November 8 padayatra to cleanse and revive the river. “Modi can clean Sabarmati and Ganga. Why shouldn’t we clean our Musi? Should our children from Nalgonda continue to live in sewage? No matter who stands in our way, we will rejuvenate the Musi,” he said.

Revanth accused the BRS government of doing nothing for Nalgonda in the last 10 years.

“They didn’t complete even a single project like the SLBC or the Bunadigani Canal. The BRS house is full of ghosts, and even when someone from within exposed them, their leader remained silent. This is not the BRS, it’s the DRS, the Demons’ State Committee,” he said, urging people to chase these “vultures” out of Telangana.

He also took jibes at KCR’s visit to Vasala Marri, accusing him of offering symbolic gifts while demolishing homes.

“We will rebuild what they destroyed,” he promised. Revanth said his government has begun systematically correcting past mistakes. “From launching the Young India Sports University to skill training for youth and water projects like SRSP and Mid Manair, we know how to deliver water to Gandhamalla.”

Outlining key achievements, he said the free bus travel for women has been implemented under Praja Palana.

“Gas cylinders now cost only Rs 500, women SHGs have received Rs 21,000 crore in bank linkage loans, ‘Amma Adarsha Patashalas’ are empowering women to manage schools, the Rs 2 lakh farm loan waiver is underway, every paddy grain harvested is being procured from farmers, a legal framework is being laid to ensure 42 per cent reservation for BCs through the caste census, and SC categorisation has finally been addressed,” he said.

Reflecting on his journey, Revanth said, “I once declared I would defeat them, and I did. Today, I stand before you as your Chief Minister with no more personal ambitions. My only goal now is to make Telangana the most ideal state in India.”

Revanth concluded by promising full-scale development for Aleru and added that his government will not rest until Telangana is a national model in governance and growth.
